| What is Courseware?: |
| Courseware is the training industry’s name for training manuals or training books. It is used by both training organizations for instructor–led courses and individuals for self-taught study. Watsonia Publishing write and publish its own courseware. All our writers are ex-teachers or trainers themselves, which means that our clients benefit from our in-depth understanding of the industry and its needs. |
|
| What if I can’t find what I want in your product list?: |
| If you can’t find what you want then give us a call or e-mail us. We write all our own manuals, therefore we have a back-catalogue of every title we have ever published. If the version or topic is not listed in the online catalogue, we should still be able to obtain it for you. Special conditions do apply however to older title orders. Cash must be paid upfront and all orders must be firm. Returns are not accepted for back-catalogue orders as these are printed specifically to order. |
|
| Do you customize manuals to suit client’s needs?: |
| Yes, we customize all manuals written by Watsonia Publishing. Customisation is available for purchases of 20 or more manuals and is free of charge for basic changes. Unlike most courseware companies this doesn’t just mean headers, footers and covers either. Using our innovative document development tool the EngineRoom™ we can adjust all our manuals to suit your needs. The Master Series can be customized to the chapter level or the topic level for the In Focus series. Please check out our ‘Products and Services’ page for more information or contact our Customer Service Department. |
|
| What is the availability of courseware?: |
| We work very closely with our printers to provide overnight on-demand printing services. If the title you require is not in stock, it is printed over night and despatched the next day. |
|
| How can I pay for my manuals?: |
| For online purchasing we accept all major credit cards, Bankcard, Mastercard, Visa, Diners and Amex as well as Purchase Order Numbers for existing, approved customers. For purchases via mail, fax, phone or email we accept credit card, cash, direct debit, and cheques. |
|
| What are the courier/freight charges for manual delivery?: |
| We use a range of courier services to minimize the delay in delivery of your manuals. For an exact cost of delivery charges for your order please contact our Despatch Department. |
|
| Is there a discount for buying in bulk?: |
| Yes, there are discounts available for bulk purchases. For purchases of 10 or more manuals, a 10+ discount will apply. Please contact us for more information and an accurate price for your order. |
|
| Is there a discount for industry customers?: |
| Yes, we have a range of discounts available for Bookshops, TAFEs, Registered Training Organisations and teachers/trainers. Please contact us for more information and an accurate price for your order. |
|
| How long does it take to get my order?: |
| Manuals are despatched within 24 hours of receiving your order. Once despatched,
Australian orders should be received within 2-3 days depending upon destination. For international orders, we will advise you of the anticipated arrival time.
|
|
| Can I return manuals I have ordered?: |
| Watsonia Publishing manuals are printed on demand. While we’ll always go out of our way to help you with returns we can only accept returns that have been incorrectly supplied by us or that we can easily re-sell. Returned manuals must be in a saleable condition. We cannot accept returns on manuals that have covers other than the current Watsonia Publishing cover, that are customized in any way, or old manuals that no longer appear on the current order form. Prior to returning any manuals you must request a Goods Return Advice Form from Watsonia Publishing (Please see our Returns Policy on this page for more detailed information).
|
|
| Can I obtain a sample copy?: |
| If you are not familiar with our material, or would like to know more about our courseware then please call us. In some cases we may be able to send you a sample copy of the manual you are enquiring about. This allows you to view the manual with the option to purchase it, or return it to us before payment is made. |

| Having problems finding a Product?: |
Sometimes change can be annoying, particularly if you are used to doing things a certain way. The layout of our new website is different, which means the stages you follow to find what you require have changed. To help you work through this change we have listed below the four search options available within this site to help you find a particular product, just select the option that suits your needs best.
1. Option one allows you to view the catalogue in its entirety. Simply go to the ‘Products and Services page and click on the link ‘Browse the Entire Catalogue’. This will allow you to examine all current titles and products sold by Watsonia Publishing.
2. Option two allows you to search by application key word. You simply type the key word you have chosen into the ‘Catalogue Search’ box that is located in the top right hand corner of every page within the website. This search will locate all topics that are associated with that application. For example; type in MYOB and you will be able to view every title, in every product range that is associated with MYOB.
3. Option three allows you to search by type and category. Simply follow the required links under the ‘Catalogue Quick Find’ heading on the ‘Products and Services’ page. This search helps you locate products within a particular category. For example; if you would like to view all titles available within the Business Services Training Package then you would click on the link ‘Curriculum Based Titles’. Alternatively if you wanted to locate all titles in our Web Development range then you would click on ‘Developer/Programming Titles’.
4. Option four allows you to narrow your search down to specific type, range, application and suites. Simply use the ‘Drop Down’ boxes on the ‘Products and Services’ page, to type in either all or a combination of the options available to narrow the your search as you require. For example; if you were looking for a curriculum based (type) Microsoft Word 2000 manual (application) written in Office 2000 (suite) for our In Focus range (range) then you would use the drop down boxes available to fill out the above information.
If you are still having problems finding the product you need, contact our Customer Service Department on +61 (0)3 9851 4000 for assistance.
